Delhi Comparatists, a group which has always taken interest in cultural shifts and the responses to such shifts by individuals , started archiving such responses, and, at the same time, assigning researchers to work on such responses. This has resulted in a coordinated research project, which aims to produce a book on such responses, by those who could accommodate a multi-cultural methodology, the base of which would be their commitment to record the responses of those who did deal with the crisis, when it happened. This has resulted in a project under which a book will be published, with authors from different corners of India, edited by Prof. Amitava Chakraborty, University of Delhi, India and Prof. Mashiko Togawa, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan.
