Delhi Comparatists Occasional Papers Series
Delhi Comparatists would like to invite prospective occasional papers from serious and enthusiastic scholars and academicians working broadly on the area of Comparative Indian Literature. The papers should be based on critical and insightful research on significant thrust areas like literary–cultural traditions, texts, intermediality, gender, religion, and the public sphere (both sacred and quotidian, elite and non-elite, etc.) of India. An occasional paper should have, for its subject-matter, specific case-studies on a genre, a tradition, or a collective/community undertaken from comparative and margino-centric perspectives. The authors are encouraged to problematise the traditionalist and monogenetic assumptions which have hitherto constituted the interpretative frameworks of the subject-matters under consideration.
With the above points in mind, prospective occasional papers composed of not less than 20,000 words and accompanied by an abstract of 500 words may be submitted for review and consideration for publication on the website of Delhi Comparatists. Please note that submissions are accepted round the year. The authors are also requested to mention their affiliation and contact details in the email for further correspondences regarding their submissions. Completed occasional papers adhering to the above-mentioned guidelines may be sent to the email address:
